Athletes maintain social distancing while training
The coaches say that they try and maintain
social distancing
as much as possible duringtraining
and discourage much training in contact sports. Raj Yadav, District Sports Officer, Gurgaon, tells us, "We have received instructions from the Haryana Government and the Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner that we are following. First of all, any athlete under 18 need permission from parents to come here. We are not allowing more than 10 athletes per coach for individual sports and 18 kids in team sports because we have to maintain social distancing.
