Advocate dies in road accident near Farrukh Nagar

GURGAON: A Rohtak-based advocate was killed and his mother, wife and two children were seriously injured in a road accident near Farrukh Nagar on Saturday morning, when the advocate's car was hit by a canter. The incident took place near the railway station on Jhajjar-Farrukh Nagar road. Advocate Rahul Chaudhary was returning home in his Santro with his family from a wedding in Faridabad.When he reached Farrukh Nagar railway station, a speeding canter hit the car. While the advocate died on the spot, his mother Saroj Chaudhary, wife Anuradha Chaudhary, childern Bhavya and Mahul sustained serious injuries. Police team reached the spot and admitted the injured in a private hospital. The canter driver fled the spot. "We have lodged an FIR against the unidentified canter driver and taken his vehicle in custody. We will arrest him soon. We handed over the body to the next of kin after postmortem," the investigating officer said.
