During the three hour long meeting, the ADGP reviewed the performance of the district police. The meeting was attended by the police commissioner, deputy commissioners of police, assistant commissioners of police and inspectors.

Sources reveal that the ADGP conducted a zone wise i.e. East, West and South review of the police stations. He analysed how each police station is performing and pointed out wherever he found they lacked. All station house officers were individually questioned about the percentage of cases pending, disposed off and investigated in their police stations.

Besides this, Akil told cops that the response time to any complaint should be improved and there should be no delay in registering an FIR. Emphasizing on the law and order situation, he said that it should not be affected under any circumstances and there should be maximum deployment on roads to ensure the same.
