GURUGRAM: A 26-year-old man filed a complaint on Tuesday against a woman for allegedly cheating him of Rs 75,000 and threatening to upload his objectionable video on the internet.
The man told police that he met the woman on social media on December 11 and the two started chatting. After some time, the woman video-called him and started stripping. She then insisted the victim strip for her and he did so.

The call went on for about 10 minutes after which the woman demanded money from him.
“The woman told me that she had already uploaded my objectionable video on social media and would send it to my friends and family members if I didn't pay up. I got scared and sent her Rs 15,000, which she had asked initially. I then asked her to delete the video from her social media account where she had claimed to upload it,” as the complainant stated.
The woman again demanded Rs 35,000 for deleting the video from the gallery of her mobile phone. After much pressure, the victim sent her the amount but she again demanded Rs 50,000 to delete the video from the recycle bin. Overall, the man transferred Rs 75,000 to the woman's bank account but she kept demanding more money on one pretext or the other.
An FIR has been registered against the woman under sections of the IT Act at the Cyber police station.
