14 charged for abetment to suicide in Farrukhnagar

GURGAON: Fourteen people, including two women, have been booked on charges of abetment to suicide of a 21-year-old man in Farrukhnagar.
Police said the deceased allegedly spread rumours about his neighbour’s wife having an illicit relationship with another man in the vicinity.
On Saturday evening, 14 people came to Devender’s house and accused him of spreading rumours.Later at night, Devender hung himself from the ceiling fan.
An FIR has been lodged against Kalu, Tuleram, Bala, Satish, Ganga Bishan, Brahma, Satish, Karmbir, Sonu, Bheem, Prem, Mahaveer, Om Prakash and Mahesh.
