Youth from Maharashtra died in road accident in Goa

MAPUSA: A native of Sindhudurg (Maharashtra ) died in a self accident at Guirim after motorcycle he was riding hit the coconut tree along national highway 17 on Monday. According to Mapusa Police the accident took place on Monday when the deceased Rajaram Andhari, 30, was proceeding towards Porvorim from Karaswada on his Maharashtra registered motorcycle.
Police said that when the rider reached near the petrol pump, he lost control over his motorcycle and hit the coconut tree. With the impact the rider hit the raod. Rajaram was rushed to district hospital at Peddem by 108 ambulance services. Doctors after examining declared him dead on arrival. Mapusa police registered the case of accident and send body for the post mortem at Goa medical college and hospital at Bambolim. Mapusa police are further investigating the case.
