VALPOI: Health minister and Valpoi MLA Vishwajit Rane said that views and ideas of the younger generation are important for the development of the taluka.
At a recent cultural event, Rane said, "Youth from Sattari and Usgao need to be integrated through one common Think Tank, where the younger generations share their ideas, aspirations for a better Sattari, and we take them forward to convert into a policy, which will in turn help me to live up to the expectations of the people of Sattari."
Rane said it is important to have participation in any decision-making process, so as to understand people and their mindset, their needs in a better way.
"This is the way we move forward to bring out new policies and new initiatives."
Earlier, the health centre team, including Dr Sham Kankonkar, Dr Abhijeet Wadkar, Dr Sankesh Fadte, Aquib Shaikh were felicitated for controlling Kyanasur Forest Disease (KFD) in Sattari.
