Unregistered guest houses on police radar

Panaji: Goa police has decided to act against unregistered guest houses that do not submit Form C — a document that registers foreigners staying in Goa. DGP Alok Kumar said the police will identify unregistered guest houses and act against them as part of a special drive. Kumar chaired a meeting of senior police officers and major stakeholders from the tourism industry to discuss road safety, cyber awareness, and issues concerning foreigners. During the meeting, tourism stakeholders said that registered hoteliers always fill Form C for foreigners, while unregistered guest houses avoid doing so.
