PANAJI: Union minister of defence Rajnath Singh on Tuesday visited Ayush minister
Shripad Naik at
Goa Medical College
(GMC) where he is undergoing treatment after he met with a
road accident in Karnataka.
Naik who suffered fractures to his leg and hand, underwent four surgeries at the state-run hospital after he was rushed to Goa on Monday night.
Singh also had a meeting with senior doctors of GMC to assess the line of treatment given to Naik.
Earlier, chief minister Pramod Sawant said the condition of Ayush minister Shripad Naik was stable.
Naik’s wife Vijaya and his close aide Deepak Ghume died in the accident.
