Two Aldona boys injured in scuffle

MAPUSA

: Two minor boys from

Aldona

sustained a few injuries following a scuffle over a previous enmity.

Police sources said the boys, both of whom study at a higher secondary school, first began arguing with each other and subsequently got into a physical fight.

In a fit of anger, one of them whipped out a pen knife that was attached to his keychain, and used it to assault the other, inflicting minor injuries. As a result, the latter had to be administered some stitches on his abdomen.

Mapusa police sub-inspector Kiran Naik said although a first information report (FIR) has not yet been registered at the police station, the Juvenile Justice Board would initiate action against both the boys.
