Conceptualized by Fr Victor Ferrao, ‘Takit’ (Haste) strives to deal with the vulnerabilities of life in the fast lane, on families. The plot revolves around a family and attempts to portray the human struggles of the members as they are tossed up and down by the gravitational pull of the fast lane.Human struggles and vulnerabilities in the family are dealt in their nakedness.
The father, having to deal with a breakdown of his marriage by the desertion of his wife, is crippled by the sense of loss, as well as the compulsions of bringing up the daughter who is also tossed by waves in the fast lane. All in all, ‘Takit’ is a psycho-drama of a family trying to ride the wave of life in the fast lane and live in a bubble that threatens to burst.
