State gets 100% results with multiple toppers in CISCE

Panaji: Goa recorded 100% results for the examinations conducted by the council for the Indian school certificate examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, for Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC). A total of 343 students in five schools appeared for the ICSE, along with 128 students in three schools who took the ISC exam.

At Sharada Mandir School, Miramar, 149 of the 171 students who appeared for Class X secured distinctions, and 80 of these scored 90% and above, 18 achieved first class, and four obtained second class.

For Class X, the school declared Nidhi Nadkarni as the school topper with 98.2%, followed by Sharv Dhume and Nikunj Jaju with 97.8% in second place, and Shaina Naik with 97.7% in third place.

“For the Class XII exam, 81 of the 100 Sharada Mandir students who appeared secured distinctions, and 38 of these scored 90% and above, 18 achieved first class, and one obtained second class,” the school stated. Of the 100 students who appeared, 46 were humanities students, 19 were science students, and 35 were commerce students.

The school declared Adarsh Mandhyan as the topper in humanities with 99.6%, Asmi Bhatia in second place with 98.4%, and Aaryaki Rathore in third place with 97.8%. In the science stream, the school declared Raaghav Srivastav as the topper with 95.2%, Shubi Jolly in second place with 89.2%, and Chloe Mascarenhas in third place with 86.6%.

In the commerce stream, the school declared Sanskrit Pauskar as the topper with 96%, Siddhant Gaur in second place with 95%, and Elrica Gomes in third place with 91%.

At the Goa Vidyaprasarark Mandal’s Utkarsh Vidyamandir School, Ponda, 38 of the 43 students who appeared achieved distinctions, four achieved first class, and one obtained second class, according to school principal Julliet Ayyaswamy.

“The school topper is Diya Thanachira with 96.8%, Kimberly Vales is in second place with 96.6%, and Rajika Chirag Bhandare is in third place with 95.8%,” said Ayyaswamy.
