VASCO: Unidentified culprits damaged

that were parked in front of the gurudwara, at Mangor Hill, Vasco, on the intervening night of Thursday.
Deputy superintendent of police (DySP) Lawrence D’Souza said the vehicles, which included a rickshaw, tourist taxi and four private cars, were found to be hit mostly by stones, and that most of the windscreens and window glasses had been smashed.
Police, who swung into action upon receiving complaints from the owners of the vehicles, said that the vandalism could either be an act of revenge or done by a mentally unstable person.
Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained from the gurudwara and residences in the vicinity has been collected by the Vasco police to gain more insight into the incident.
