The premises of government and aided high schools and higher secondary schools in the state itself are utilised to conduct the Board examinations and over the next month teaching for Class V to IX and for Class XI will be on while the Board exam for Class X and XII is being conducted.

“As you are aware, the first terminal examination of SSC and HSSC is scheduled to commence from November 10, 2022 from 2.30pm onwards (evening session), for which the services of teaching and non-teaching staff as well as the school premises will be requisitioned by the Board. In this regard, for smooth functioning of the normal classes other than Class X and XII, the schools which are main centre/sub-centre shall leave the students by 1pm on the examination days,” the Board has said.

Goa Board has said that those schools that run in the afternoon session may call the students in the morning session or make any other appropriate arrangement without disturbing public examination.

“Teaching staff and non-teaching staff appointed for the examination work shall be allowed to leave by 10.30am to report to the concerned examination centre, if supervising at other centre, whereas if invigilators/non-teaching staff are of the same institution then appropriate arrangement may be done by head of institution,” schools have been told.

With regard to discrepancy in the question paper, if any is found, it will have to be reported to the Goa Board office within 24 hours after exam is over, the Board has instructed schools.
