BICHOLIM: Chief minister Pramod Sawant said Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s

visit

BJP as far as share of its votes in the constituency are concerned.

Gandhi’s meeting in the constituency will not impact BJP by even 1%, Sawant told a gathering during a road show in Sanquelim town on Sunday.

Sawant said that after realising that only BJP can continue the all round development of the state more and more people have started joining BJP.

He said that during the 2012 election former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh too had visited Sanquelim, but had not affect BJP votes, on the contrary BJP won the seat by a big margin.

The entire Siddhivinayak temple committee joined BJP on the occasion.
