Public meet on Feb 14

PANAJI: A public meeting has been convened on February 14 at the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry hall, Panaji, at 5 pm to protest against the suspension of additional sessions judge, Margao, Desmond D'Costa.
This was decided at an emergency meeting of prominent citizens, writers, artists and others held in Panaji on Friday. The meeting demand that the inquiry against the judge instituted by the high court be completed within eight days.
Prominent among those who have signed the press release are Prabhakar Timble, Dr Oscar Rebello, Dnyanesh Moghe, Bernadette Gomes, Sandesh Prabhudesai, Thalman Pereira, Christopher Fonseca, Sridhar Kamat, Albert de Sa and Mohandas Lolienkar. tnn
