The President will subsequently take a helicopter out to sea to spend the day with the crew of the Indian Navy’s aircraft carrier. At sea, she will witness flight operations, interact with high-ranking Navy officers, and receive a briefing about manoeuvres.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh Tripathi will receive the President at INS Hansa and present a 150-men ceremonial guard of honour. This will be her maiden visit onboard the aircraft carrier to witness the full spectrum of multi-domain naval operations.

She visited the aircraft carrier in Kochi but did not embark on it for a sea sortie.

The Navy intends to showcase various maritime exercises, including battle simulations, submarine exercises, and air power demonstrations such as take-offs and landings by deck-based fighter jets and helicopters. A flypast by the naval aircraft is also planned.
