MAPUSA: Sonu Singh, the main accused in the recently busted prostitution racket, has been taken on transfer warrant by the Porvorim police from the Pernem police.
Singh, 32, is wanted in the attempt to murder case by the Porvorim police.
Police said Ram Bahdur Thapa alias Sonu Singh is the kingpin in the prostitution racket and was supplying girls in Goa from Mumbai.
Pernem police had arrested Sonu at the Goa medical college (GMC) complex at Bambolim on September 19.
Pernem police have investigated all the angles in the case and have completed investigating the case and will be shortly be filing the charge sheet.
The attempt to murder case was registered against Sonu and his wife Saroj at the Porvorim police station after Sonu dashed a car on PSI Amonkar while he was chasing.
