Ponda logs 1st dengue death
Ponda: Deepak Sahu, 16, a student of the Khandola Govt College, died of suspected dengue while being treated at the GMC. Health officer at Betki primary health centre, Sangeeta Keluskar, said Sahu was brought to the health centre on Wednesday after suffering from severe fever and abdominal pain for three days. He had come with a blood test report from a private pathological laboratory showing he was positive for dengue.
