Pick-up truck falls on house at Ponda

Ponda: A pick-up truck transporting chicken fell on a low-lying house at Mhalshe-Curti, on the outskirts of Ponda town, on Wednesday. Although the house was damaged, no one was injured. The truck was returning to Chandgad, Maharashtra, after delivering chicken in Ponda. The driver said he could not control the vehicle due to a technical glitch. Locals have been demanding the construction of a retaining wall along the road to avoid such incidents.
