Speaking to TOI, students said that the local politicians, Pernem MLA Dayanand Sopte, Mandrem MLA Laxmikant Parsekar and sports minister Manohar Azgaonkar, had promised students to appoint a full time teacher before Christmas vacations. However, even after the vacations the politicians have failed to fulfill their demand, students alleged.
