Nigerian nabbed at Siolim with cocaine

MAPUSA:Anjuna police have arrested Nigerian national Ebuka Obiekwa, 30, for alleged illegal possession of 22 grams of cocaine worth 2.22 lakh in the international market.
The Nigerian was picked up from his rented premises at Bamon Vaddo in Siolim owned by Narayan Morjkar after a tip off. Police are also verifying the legality of his stay at Siolim.“We have intensified patrolling as the tourist season is beginning in the state, illegal stay and drug trade will be dealt with seriously,” Anjuna police inspector Paresh Naik said.
