NEET topper from Goa scores 99.89 percentile
Panaji: Tarun Kumar with a percentile of 99.89 was declared the Goa state topper at the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Kumar secured a national NEET rank of 2,397, the NTA said.
This year, 5,229 students from Goa registered for NEET, of which 5,003 appeared for the test and 2,586 qualified, as per the data released by NTA.
Estellar Academy principal Yogendra Singh Sikarwar said that Kumar has scored 697 marks out of 720. “It is a proud moment as our student Tarun has topped the state of Goa for NEET 2024. I congratulate him and his parents. This year, Estellar Academy has given state toppers for both NEET and JEE,” said Sikarwar.
Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School, Cujira, director Vyankatesh Prabhudesai said that some of the top scores from the institute were of Sidonia Fernandes (686) and Anavee Palyekar (672).
Others to have qualified from Goa included Tawon Braganca (632), Koyal Kamat (614), Aishiki Mukhopadhay (589), Shivani Parodkar (571), Shloak Usgaonkar (568), Siddhi Nagvekar (568), Ananya Kamat (567), Sumukh Shirodker (566), Tia Chodankar (565), Disha Desai (563), Navinya Desai (561), Anagha Naik (543), Siyal Parab (532), Shreya Deshpande (531) and Ananya Raikar (523).
