In September the film will then travel to the Indian Summer of Ragas, Reel & Raconteurs in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh which will be held in association with the Indian Consulate in Edinburgh.
Nacho-m-ia-Kumpasar has also been invited to the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival.
The film starring Vijay Maurya, Palomi Ghosh and Prince Jacob with Ronnie Monserrate as its music director, pays tribute to the unsung Goan musicians of the 1960s and '70s. It won awards for the best Konkani film, best production design and special jury award for female actor at the 62nd National Film Awards and the Dada Saheb Phalke award for best original background score, earlier this year, at the sixth Dada Saheb Phalke film festival in 2016.

The film was recently invited to participate in the 16th Annual New York Indian Film Festival where it was screened as the opening night gala film. It was also nominated in the Best Film Category and its actress Palomi Ghosh in the Best Actress category at the festival but didn't bag any of awards.
It bagged the Lebara Audience Choice Award at the London Indian Film Festival, best film (out of competition category) at the Brasov International Film Festival, best music award at the Global Music Award, US and the best director, best background score and best sound design at the Filmmakers Film Festival Milan among other awards.
Braganza says he is proud that the film continues to astonish global audiences one-and-a-half-year after its release.
