CALANGUTE: A minor girl from Hyderabad who had gone missing and was suspected to have been kidnapped was located by Calangute police at Candolim on Sunday.
According to Calangute police, they were informed by a team from Jagatheririgutta police station, Hyderabad, that they had come to Calangute in search of a missing minor college girl who had allegedly been kidnapped from Telangana.
The minor girl had been traced to Candolim after she along with her acquaintance, a minor boy, purchased grocery items from a supermarket here using a bank card.
Based on the information, Calangute PI Dattaguru Sawant along with PSI Kiran Naik initiated an inquiry in the Candolim area and with the help of CCTV footage captured in the supermarket, traced the girl to a guesthouse at Candolim.
Both the minors were reunited with their respective families.
