SGPDA member secretary Vertika Dagur, in a notice issued on Friday, issued directions for closure with immediate effect until August 24.

Earlier this week, Dagur had issued a show cause notice to the South Goa wholesale fish traders’ association for violating the conditions set out by it for reopening the market last month. In the notice, it was pointed out that the members of the association, who are fish sellers, failed to maintain social distancing in the market, and no provisions have been made for use of sanitisers.”
