Manipur man held for theft in Goa

Vicky Singh, 30, a resident of Sonarbhat, Saligao, and a native of Imphal, Manipur, for stealing a

cellphone

belonging to Irshad Rattihalli from Althovaddo, Saligao.

Police said the accused was also involved in cellphone thefts in Calangute and had been convicted and imprisoned for two years.

The accused was nabbed soon after Rattihalli lodged a complaint. During the arrest, six cellphones were recovered from Singh’s possession.

Singh has been booked under Section 380 of the IPC.
