Man attempts suicide at Porvorim HSS

PANAJI: The vice chairperson of Vidya Prabodhini Higher Secondary School, Porvorim, has lodged a complaint with Porvorim police that a native of Karnataka trespassed into the school premises and attempted to commit suicide on Monday morning.
The school official, Datta Naik, alleged that Rajesh Nayak, 24, had trespassed into one of the school classrooms at around 9.55am, and attempted to commit suicide by inflicting a knife on his hand causing injuries to himself.Police have arrested Nayak and he has been remanded to judicial custody.
