Despite the impending weather, Sunday saw mainly dry conditions across the state, with very light to light rainfall reported at isolated locations.

The highest maximum temperature recorded was 33 degrees celsius in Panaji, while the lowest minimum temperature was noted at 25.4 degrees celsius in both Panaji and at Dabolim.

Meteorological experts indicate that conditions are becoming favourable for the further withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from the remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and additional areas of Maharashtra over the next two to three days. However, the monsoon withdrawal line has yet to extend to Goa.
