VASCO: Dabolim airport police arrested an Israeli national for carrying a live bullet with him and trying to take it on a flight on Saturday. Dabolim airport police said that the Israeli national, Biton Vlivan, 32, was trying to board a 2.40pm flight for Mumbai. A complaint was lodged by Indigo airlines manager Justin Gowe on Saturday evening with Dabolim police.

Gowe said that Vlivan was found with a live bullet. “During the x-ray of his belongings, the bullet was found,” he said. Upon inquiry, Vlivan failed to produce documents of the same. He is in police custody and will be produced before Vasco JMFC on Sunday.
