Govt moves 18 officers, list released to media a day late

Panaji: The state government issued orders of transfer of 18 government officers late on Saturday and released it to the media on Sunday.
Several officers have been posted on promotion in the transfer list effected by the personnel department. This include transfers of Narayan Prabhudessai, state land acquisition officers (SLAO), tourism, who, on promotion, is posted as custodian of evacuee property.Arvind Bugde, who held the additional charge has been relieved.
Sneha Morajkar, under secretary to chief secretary, on promotion, has been posted as joint secretary, ARD, thereby relieving Yatindra Maralkar, additional secretary personnel, of additional charge.
Pravin Barad, assistant director, (administration), industries, trade and commerce on being promoted posted as managing director, Goa state SC and OBC finance corporation. Vinesh Arlekar, who held the additional charge has been relieved.
Ashok Rane, who has been promoted, and currently, an additional commissioner of Excise – II, posted as director of handicrafts, textile and coir, relieving Damodar Morajkar. Upasana Mazgaonkar who was awaiting posting has been promoted as SLAO, EDC with additional charge of SLAO, GSIDC. Sandhya Kamat has been relieved of additional charge.
Y B Tavade, chief officer, Margao municipal council has been transferred and posted as additional collector–II, South. Sidhivinayak Naik, member secretary of Goa state commission of women, will be the new chief officer of Margao municipal council.
Meghanath Porob, chief executive officer, North Goa zilla panchayat has been transferred and posted as director of department of small savings and lotteries. Jayant Tari, who held the post as an additional charge has been relieved. Deepali Naik, who has been relieved from the post of director of women and child, has been posted as chief officer of Mormugao municipal council (MMC) and L S Pereira has been relieved of the additional charge.
Damodar Morajkar, director of handicrafts, textiles and coir, has been posted as additional collector, sub-district, Ponda, relieving Y B Tavde of additional charge.
N P Signapurkar, managing director and joint secretary, Goa housing board, will be new member secretary of Kala Academy. At Goa housing board, he will be replaced by Sabaji Shetye, deputy collector, Mormugao. Shetye has been given the new charge on promotion. Dipak Desai stands relieved as member secretary, Kala Academy. R K Halarnkar, deputy registrar, government polytechnic on promotion is posted as SLAO, GIDC, while relieving Sidhivinayak Naik of the additional charge. Margaret Fernandes, superintendent of central jail has been posted as director, public grievances.
G P Pilarnkar, director of panchayats, has been put on hold additional charge of the post of chief executive officer, North Goa zilla panchayat, until further orders.
As per the order issued on Saturday, the officers have been asked to complete the process of handing and taking over charge within three days of issue of the order.
