Govt gives fresh postings to 6 dySPs

Panaji: Six deputy superintendents of police (DySP) were transferred and given fresh postings by state govt on Monday.

Sandesh Chodankar, who served as the sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Mapusa, has been posted as DySP of the Goa Reserve Police (GRP), with additional charge of DySP armoury, motor transport and the escort cell.

Chodankar will be replaced by Wilson D’Souza as the Mapusa SDPO.

Salim Shaikh, who held charge of coastal security, has been transferred and posted as the Pernem SDPO, while Roy Pereira, who served as DySP of motor transport will now serve as DySP of coastal security.

Pernem SDPO Ashish Shirodkar, has been posted as the Quepem SDPO.

Sagar Ekoskar, who held charge as the Quepem SDPO, will serve as DySP of security with additional charge as DySP (headquarters), Panaji.
