Gold jewellery worth Rs 65,000 stolen from Quepem house

Margao: Gold jewellery worth approximately Rs 65,000 was stolen from a house in Quepem. According to the police complaint filed by Ashok Devidas, unknown perpetrators broke into his residence, which is located behind the Kakumoddi petrol pump, at around 9am on Nov 20. He said, the thieves gained access to the premises by forcing open the main door lock.

The stolen items include a gold chain and a gold finger ring, which were stored in a steel cupboard inside the house. The total value of the stolen jewellery is estimated at Rs 65,000.

Quepem police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
