Goa Board Class XII results to be out on March 27
Panaji: The Class XII results of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be declared at 5pm on Thursday. The exam, which was held from Feb 10 to March 1 across 20 centres, was answered by 17,686 students — 9,224 girls and 8,462 boys.
Of those who registered for the exam, 6,086 appeared under the science stream, 5,085 under the commerce stream, 4,068 under the arts stream and 2,447 under the vocational stream.
There were 202 students with special needs and 138 private candidates who also took the exam.
HSSC result will be available on www.gbshse.in and http://results.gbshsegoa.net, the Board has said.
Last year, 17,511 candidates appeared for the Class XII state board exam, of which 14,884 successfully cleared it, registering a pass percentage of 85%.
The Board said consolidated result sheets will be available for downloading for the schools from March 29 onwards.
A total of 29 higher secondary schools have offered National Skills Qualifications Framework subjects for 1,063 students.
“Date of collection of mark sheets will be declared shortly. Mark sheets shall be collected through the authorised representative of the school. No parents or candidates will be entertained. For any queries, the candidate should approach the respective school,” the Board has stated.
