French national found dead in hostel room

Vasco: Professor Patrick Albert, 64, a French national, was found dead in his hostel room at Verna on Sunday afternoon.Verna police, who investigated the case, said that Albert failed to respond to hostel staff, leading to his discovery. He served as a professor and head chef at a culinary college in Verna. Police ruled out foul play and suspect he died of a cardiac arrest. They informed the French embassy and registered a case of unnatural death. His body was sent for autopsy.
