MARGAO: Three unknown youth trespassed into the premises of the government college, Quepem, and allegedly manhandled the security guard and abused the principal and a lecturer, before escaping from the scene, on Friday.
Principal Bhaskar Nayak has lodged a complaint at the Quepem police station, alleging that the youth came in in a four wheeler and used abusive language and made obscene gestures in front of some female students and threatened him and a lecturer with dire consequences.

Police sources told TOI that the trio gained entry into the college premises after assaulting the security guard manning the main gate. Once inside, they went to the principal's office and abused Nayak and another senior faculty member, Dr A Satish.
"The motive behind the act by the accused is not known, but appears it was pure mischief that they wanted to indulge in," Quepem PI Santosh Dessai said.
The car used by the trouble makers has been attached by the police. Sources said the police have already approached the transport department and have found out the name of the car owner.
Based on the details obtained from the car owner, the police have managed to identify all the three accused. Police sources said that all the three are on the run. "We have identified all the three accused. We are on the lookout. They will be arrested soon," Dessai said.
The case has been registered under Sections 448, 353, 504, 506, 509 read with Section 34, IPC.
