Churchill, Subhash meet Hariprasad

PANAJI: PWD minister Churchill Alemao and president of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) Subhash Shirodkar called on AICC general secretary incharge of Goa desk B K Hariprasad and discussed the political situation in the state.
The meeting assumes significance as Hariprasad is scheduled to visit Goa and hold a general body meeting of the GPCC on January 21.The issue of the new presidentship of GPCC was also discussed and sources say Shirodkar is likely to be reappointed to the top post. Alemao said status quo would be maintained in the cabinet.
