Chinchinim teen dies after falling from second floor
Margao: A 19-year-old youth lost his life after attempting to enter his residence through a second-floor window in Chinchinim. Adler Joe Rodrigues succumbed to his injuries at Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital, Bambolim, while undergoing treatment.
According to Cuncolim police, the incident occurred when Rodrigues attempted to gain entry into his locked house by climbing to the second floor. Finding the house locked from inside, he tried to enter through a window but lost his balance and fell, sustaining severe injuries to his head.
Rodrigues was initially rushed to the South Goa district hospital in Margao. Due to the critical nature of his injuries, he was subsequently shifted to GMC, where he was later pronounced brought dead.
The post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death as “damage to head, brain and chest consequent to blunt force impact from surface and or object”.
Cuncolim police have registered the case of unnatural death.
