Boy falls in Verna school toilet, dies

Vasco: Prince Kumar, 10, a native of Bihar, died after he fell into the toilet block of a school at Verna on Tuesday. The autopsy revealed the cause of death as ‘cerebrovascular accident due to intra-parenchymal haemorrhage extending to the lateral ventricle’—a natural cause.
Police said the staff found the boy lying unconscious in the toilet. He was first taken first to the South Goa district hospital, but was later shifted to GMC due to his critical state. He died in GMC while being treated. Verna police registered a case of unnatural death.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Carry Fernandes under the supervision of PI Melson Colaco and guidance of DySP Gurudas Kadam.
