Bombay HC chief justice to sit at Goa bench

Panaji: Chief Justice of the Bombay high court, Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, will be on judicial assignment in the state on Thursday and Friday at the high court’s Goa bench.

The chief justice will sit on the division bench along with Justice M S Karnik on Thursday, while Justice Valmiki Menezes will sit singly and take up matters pertaining to the single bench.

On Friday, the chief justice of the Bombay high court will sit on the division bench of Goa along with Justice Bharat P Deshpande.

As per reports, urgent mentioning and placing of matters pertaining to the single bench presided over by Justice Bharat P Deshpande will be allowed before the single bench presided over by Justice Valmiki Menezes.
