Assam worker dies in Verna factory
Rabiul Islam, 20, a native of Assam, died in a rope-making factory at Verna on Saturday afternoon after his head was crushed in a roller machine.
Verna police said, “Islam bent forwards to clean the machine. His hand hit a button and the machine started operating. His head was crushed.”
Staffers rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared ‘brought dead’ by doctors.
