ornaments made of yellow metal produced by 11 persons — they have been named as accused along with Lotlikar — as genuine gold ornaments, for mortgage for availing gold loan from the bank between May 2017 and July 2018. The bank was thus cheated to the tune of Rs 68 lakh, police sources said.The police have booked an offence against 12 accused along with Lotlikar under charges of conspiracy to cheat the bank.
