AirAsia India slashes rates to celebrate passenger milestone

Witihin a short period of just over a year, the AirAsia India has crossed the 1 million passengers milestone with the parent group, AirAsia Group crossing the 300 million guests flown mark, chief executive officer, AirAsia India Mittu Chandilya said. To celebrate the event, AirAsia India is offering promotional all-in-fares from as low as Rs. 990for tickets booked till August 16 for the travel period from February 15 to August 16.

AirAsia India started its operations on 12 June 2014, with an Airbus A320. In just about a year, the airline has grown to a fleet of 5 aircraft with 10 destinations in India, and hitting the 1 million guests flown mark a little while back.
