After Delhi poll results, RG labels Cong and AAP as BJP’s ‘B-team’
Panaji: The Delhi assembly election results proved that Congress and AAP are the BJP’s B-team, said Revolutionary Goans here on Saturday. RG president Manoj Parab said that the three national parties are working together to ensure that all states are indirectly governed from Delhi.
Parab said the Delhi results are a wake-up call for Goa’s voters ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.
“Congress and AAP keep telling us that they are here to defeat BJP, but in the Delhi elections, the INDI alliance partners fought separately. The two parties worked against each other. In 2027, these same parties will come here and say that BJP has to be defeated,” said Parab.
He said that the only reason Congress and AAP are talking about an alliance in Goa is to safeguard their existing assembly seats.
“Goans need to introspect and realise that these two political parties are trying to hoodwink and create a political illusion by claiming that they want to defeat BJP. In Delhi, if you look at the seats, there are 15 seats where a Congress candidate ate into AAP vote share and defeated the AAP candidate. Congress proved that it is BJP’s B-team in Delhi,” said Parab.
St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar said that AAP and Congress compete in Delhi but claim to be united in Goa.
“These two parties are selfish. If we elect AAP, they will bring people from Delhi here to set up consultancy companies and to benefit their friends,” he added.
