38-year-old saved from drowning

PANAJI: A 38-year-old man from Hyderabad was recently rescued from drowning by lifeguards at Calangute beach. According to Dristhi Special Response Services, Arvind was in an inebriated state when he entered the water at around 10.30am. Lifeguards Gaurish Gaonkar and Dinanath Halarnkar who saw Arvind struggling, rushed to his resuce and pulled him out to safety in an unconscious state.He was later shifted to a waiting 108 ambulance for medical treatment.
