3 artistes to get Young Achievers award from Tiatr Academy

Panaji: Tiatr artistes Holly Rodrigues, Jennifer Fernando, and Tracy Dias will receive the Tiatr Academy of Goa’s (TAG) Young Achievers Awards 2024 for their performances and dedication to the growth of tiatr.

Holly Rodrigues is a trained musician from Pilar Music School, Margao. Starting at just five years old, Rodrigues excelled in singing, acting, and playing the guitar. His remarkable talent made him a two-time recipient of the ‘Kantaram Scholarship’.

Since her remarkable debut in 2018, Jennifer Fernando has starred in three Konkani films, one of which will be screened at the International Film Festival of India 2024.

Tracy Xaverina Dias, who goes by the stage name Tracy De Calangute, impressed audiences with her acting and singing talents. She is also an accomplished director, having helmed the tiatr ‘Fulanchea Sangatak Kantte-i Apnnayat’ in 2017.

The awards ceremony will be held on Nov 16, at 3.30pm at the Black Box, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. Ester Noronha, a renowned theatre personality from Mangalore, will be the chief guest, with Sharon Mazarello, a senior tiatrist, as the guest of honour.
