2 bankers face FIR for duping Baina resident

Vasco: Police at Vasco have filed an FIR against three persons, including two employees of a private sector bank, for their alleged involvement in cheating a resident of Baina to the tune of Rs 8 lakh.Police said a complaint was filed by Khwaja Hussain, stating that bank manager Sunil Chavan, bank employee Shazia Sayed, and Safhan Khan, a resident of Dabolim, had tricked him into parting with gold ornaments.In a meeting at Shantinagar, the three allegedly took the complainant’s ornaments under false pretences.Police sub-inspector Mayur Sawant is investigating the case.
