Woman dies by suicide, alleges harassment by husband in note

Ghaziabad: A 30-year-old woman died by suicide after jumping from the balcony of her 11th-floor apartment in KM Residency, Raj Nagar Extension, around 8am on Friday. Cops found a seven-page note in a diary in which Aarti accused her husband, Mayank Tyagi, of physical abuse, harassment, and an affair.ACP (Nandgram) Ravi Singh said Aarti had a heated argument with Mayank before taking the fatal step. “A police team reached the spot after receiving an alert from the neighbours. Aarti was lying in a pool of blood on the society’s road. Cops took her to MMG hospital where she was declared dead on arrival,” he said.Aarti's father, Rajeev Tyagi, filed a complaint, stating his daughter got married in 2020 and had repeatedly mentioned her husband's abusive behaviour. An FIR has been registered under BNS section 108 (abetment of suicide), and Mayank has been detained for questioning. tnn

Married woman and her lover commit suicide in Kakinada

A tragic incident occurred in Jaggampeta, Kakinada where Sai Prasanna, a married woman, and her lover Pindi Nanaji took their own lives. Problems arose when Prasanna pressured Nanaji to marry her, leading to her suicide. Nanaji followed suit, also hanging himself. Authorities are currently investigating the case.

In Ghaziabad, men in SUV harass woman, intercept her car; 2 arrested

Two men were arrested for harassing a woman while she was shopping at a Kavi Nagar market. Police identified the accused as Siddharth Singh and Ayush Kumar, who made objectionable comments from their vehicle. The woman reported the incident to the police, who then arrested the accused and registered an FIR against them.

Man dies by suicide

A wholesale vegetable trader, Ramzan Qureshi, allegedly committed suicide due to financial distress at his home in Janata Colony, Bhopal. Found by his wife around 2 am, Qureshi was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter further.
