Bull, cow and a dog electrocuted, man files plaint against co

Ghaziabad: A resident of Crossings Republik township has filed a police complaint against the Crossings Infrastructure Private Limited (CIPL) over the death of a bull, a pregnant cow and a dog on Aug 9 after getting electrocuted by an exposed live electric wire. The complainant said that the live wire was left uncovered by the management of CIPL.

“This was not an accident but the result of a deliberate criminal act by the company's management. Despite collecting substantial Township Maintenance Charges (TMC) from residents, Crossings Infrastructure Pvt Ltd failed to maintain safety standards, and ignored repeated warnings and complaints about the danger posed by exposed live wires. This reckless conduct demonstrates a wilful disregard for the safety and well- being of both residents and animals,” said Saroj Kumar Mohanty, the complainant and a resident of the township.

The affected area is a common gathering place for residents, particularly during the weekly market. This blatant violation of public safety norms reveals a severe lack of responsibility and accountability on the part of the company and its officials.

“I therefore requested for an FIR to be registered against Crossings Infrastructure Pvt Ltd and strict legal action against all responsible individuals to prevent such incidents in the future,” he said.

A senior police official said that they are currently investigating the matter.

UP govt to build a new township in Ghaziabad, names it Harnandipuram

PSU to build Rs 15,000 crore township in Srinagar

The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) has planned to develop a new satellite township in Srinagar over 406 acres, aiming to complete it in five years. This township will feature residential plots, luxury villas, apartments, commercial office spaces, a sports center, green areas, and a five-star resort. Revenue from plot sales will fund the development.
