The accused has been identified as Rahul alias Rajjiuddin (30). The complainant is originally from Baghpat and now lives in Indirapuram. She has six daughters. “The accused used to work in the same company as my second youngest daughter. He introduced himself to us as Rahul. On Thursday, when I went to the bank to withdraw some money, I found that he withdrew the money with the help of two of my daughters and purchased a car. He is manipulating my daughters and trying to convince them to convert to Islam,” she alleged.
Vivek Yadav, DCP (trans-Hindon) said after the woman filed a complaint, an FIR was registered. He was detained for questioning, but later released after the complainant’s daughters recorded their statements. “They said Rahul didn’t take any money from them. There are no signs to show that he was trying to convert them,” DCP Yadav said.
